Brtonigla is a municipality that is rich in natural resources and that is proud of its untouched nature which sets the groundwork for the growth of agricultural production and tourism resources. The majority of the municipality is located inland, while its southern portion touches the Mirna River. It covers both the coastal region and the lush green interior of Istria. A mild, Mediterranean climate prevails in the area of the Municipality, which enables a pleasant stay throughout the year.
Brtonigla winegrowers produce ten percent of all wine produced in Istria. The Municipality is ranked #1 in Istria for the ratio of wine consumption per resident. Brtonigla Municipality joined the “Città del Vino” association, the first in Istria and Croatia, based in Siena (Italy), in an effort to improve cooperation and exchange of knowledge in the fields of wine production and territory preservation on an international scale.

Villa Royale, Terra Biancha and Vigneto
The Marzari hill has a unique location: surrounded by olive groves and numerous acres of vineyards, with spectacular 360 degrees panoramic views of the western coast of Istria, the ancient town of Verteneglio and other charming little towns, the Italian Alps and even the Italian coastline can be seen when the weather has extremely clear skies. The typical Istrian intact vegetation can be enjoyed from the site as well. The hill is named after the family Marzari from Buje which were the first owners of the property. Three Hedonistrian villas are available for rent and can accommodate 9-15 guests.
Vista Verde Villas
Each villa is oriented towards the southwest, featuring four ensuite rooms with walk-in showers, a large kitchen, an open-plan living room, and a toilet. The living room exits onto a landscaped garden, surrounded by stone walls, with a swimming pool and a sunbathing area. The villas are equipped with a climate control system and heated floors. The villas consist of two two-story houses and two one-story houses placed in a row, one beneath the other, on spacious 2,000 m2 plots. Two of the villas are available for rent and can accommodate 10-12 guests.
