New Year’s Eve is the time when we bid the old year a fond farewell and welcome the new. Pack your luggage and make travel arrangements to Croatia if you’re looking for a place to ring in 2023. Here are some fantastic locations where you may celebrate New Year’s Eve as you choose and, who knows, maybe have the wildest night of 2022!
Poreč
We highlight four New Year’s celebrations in Poreč – a big celebration at the Prljavo Kazalište on Trg slobode, and a party celebration with DJ David will be held at the same time on Matije Gupca Square.
On New Year’s Day at noon, a traditional children’s New Year’s party was organized, with animation and children’s fireworks. There is now a traditional replay of the January 1st celebration at Night Express.
Rovinj
The town square in Rovinj is the traditional host of Rovinj’s New Year’s celebration in the open air, and it will be the same this year.
Visitors can expect a rich musical program – the main star is Tony Cetinski, who will be joined by Atomic Shelter. A midnight surprise guest was also announced.
Novigrad
Novigrad invites you to say goodbye to 2022 in the most beautiful way possible, with socializing and entertainment starting at noon in front of the Novigrad sports hall.
The New Year’s Eve event “Goodbye 2022” will last until 7 p.m., until which time visitors will enjoy plenty of entertainment, music, drinks and food. They will dance and sing to numerous local bands, socialize with family, friends, fellow citizens and many other visitors, and feast on mulled wine, sausages, ombolo, sauerkraut or mushroom kettle and Istrian sweets.
