Despite being mostly renowned as a summer vacation spot, Istria has a particularly beautiful autumn. Istria is a great place to visit in the fall because of the variety of colors in the forests and parks, the cities having fewer tourists, the start of the truffle season, and the pleasant weather. The end of summer typically signals the end of cultural events in most cities, but not in this Croatian region.
