The ninth edition of the marathon with the start and finish in Umag will take place on April 14th and 15th of this year and will have an even richer program.
The real challenge will be on April 15th, 2023 in Umag – on the sections for daring and physically fit cyclists. You can choose between the 94 km long section of the Istria Medio Fondo and the 119 km long section of the Istria Gran Fondo. The sections pass through the northwestern and central parts of the Istrian peninsula and return you to Umag. In order to catch your breath along the way, organizers have prepared a total of 4 refreshing stations for you. Both sections start and finish next to the attractive tourist complex Stella Maris Resort, right next to the ATP stadium of Goran Ivanišević in Umag, and the collection of starting numbers starts already on Friday, April 15, 2023.
The marathon, which in 2019 brought together almost 700 cyclists from 15 countries, over 300 members of the organization, 150 volunteers, as well as members of various cycling teams, brings 77 awards for the best cyclists and valuable prizes for the male and female absolute winner.
A rich accompanying program in 2023 offers interesting brands in the Expo zone, a children’s program and a rich gourmet offer, and the most important thing – a great atmosphere!
