Cheese, olive oil, wine or truffles degustation tours?
Imagine spending the day enjoying the best nature has to give. Istria is known for its cheese, especially cheese with truffles and of course virgin olive oil and different wine sorts. If you decide to go on a tour, you’ll try all the Istrian delicacies, and buy some to take with you home.
Day trips – exploring the beautiful Istrian greenery
The continental part of Istria is rich in cultural remains from the Roman era that are hidden in parks, forests, and river canyons. Untouched and protected nature is found in all parts of this peninsula, and many beaches carry a blue flag as proof of cleanliness and tidiness.
Another option is booking a boat to visit one of many islands in the Istrian archipelago. We would also like to recommend a one-day boat trip around the beautiful Istrian bays. It’s perfect for a comfortable one-day tour especially with small kids because the boat meets all safety requirements.
Traditional Istrian dinner at the villa
A private cook will come to the villa and prepare a mouth-watering gourmet dinner for you. The focus of Istrian cuisine is on fresh ingredients, lots of fish and seafood, vegetables harvested in their own garden, and fruit from their own orchards. Olive oil, as well as Istrian wines, are among the best in Croatia and Europe, which is why they are an addition to almost every dish.
Regarding “special” dinners, if you would like something romantic, we can organize a motorboat to pick you up from the villa and take you to the island of Sveti Nikola (15 min. away) to have dinner there. It is a beautiful location, and we would recommend dinner at sunset, around 19.00 – it’s breathtaking!
Babysitting, pre-grocery shopping or housekeeping
If you are going on a romantic dinner date or a party with your friends, we’ll organize a babysitter so you can have a relaxed night out. Another available service is pre-grocery shopping, so let us know in advance if you would like to organize one and a full fridge of food and beverages will wait for you. Also, if you booked one of our villas for a longer period, you can count on booking a housekeeping service to maintain everything regularly during your stay.
